撻Q (俗語) : ”或作撻cue，原本是桌球用語，原指控制桌球棒（俗稱cue棍）失誤，撃不中白球的重點，令到白球移動路線出現偏差，後果輕則損失機會，重則失分，輸掉比賽。

其後香港的足球評述員將『撻Q』一詞引入足球比賽之上，指球員踼球時踢不中皮球重點，把球踼歪了。而「臨門撻Q」即指球員在龍門前射門時把球踢歪了，錯失進球的機會。而『撻Q』亦由最初指球員踼不中球重點，演變至廣泛應用在球員錯失入球黃金機會，統統都會被形容為『撻Q』。

最後，「撻Q」被借用在日常生活中，意指一些事情，在水到渠成之際，因失誤而變得功敗垂成。「撻Q」有幸災樂禍的意味，是少數應用在日常生活的桌球術語。”
