瞓身 all in

瞓身英文 all in 瞓身(俗語) 全力; 全身投入; 用盡全部資源. “all in (adverb) in a way that shows a lot of determination and a willingness to take a big risk in order to achieve something”. Cambridge.

雖然 ”瞓身”英文翻譯上好多個同義詞語, 例如: to spare no effort; to devote oneself to, 但以一個廣東話母語的英文的學者來說, 我總覺得all in英文的含意或味道和廣東話的相同.

There are some English synonymous expressions with similar meaning e.g. "to spare no effort"; "to devote oneself to". However, I feel, as a native Cantonese speaking learner of English, that “all in” has the similar connotation of 瞓身 in Cantonese.
